The privacy statement applies to all personal data obtained via the websites of Gent ICC or via another channel of Gent ICC and is in line with the new European GDPR legislation on the processing and protection of personal data.

You should be aware that Gent ICC is not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and sources. Gent ICC respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.

When you send us an e-mail or a different message, we may store those messages. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal data that is relevant to the situation in question. The personal data that we can request is: name, first name, telephone, address, language and e-mail address. This allows us to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on Gent ICC’s secure servers or those of a third party. We shall not combine this data with other personal data we have available.

To verify your identity, we ask you to send a copy of the front of your ID card. We strongly advise you to make your passport photo invisible and to mention that it is a copy.

You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or a part thereof) by us or by one of our processors.

You also have the right to have Gent ICC transfer the data you provided to yourself or, on your behalf, directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can respond to the aforementioned requests.

Gent ICC aims to protect your personal data as well as possible. This happens both through technical and organisational measures. For instance, we have taken the following measures:
