Gent ICC & surroundings

Gent ICC lies in a tranquil oasis in the middle of Ghent's largest park and green lung - the Citadelpark.

You should definitely set 15 minutes aside to stroll through this 16ha park. After all, this is the largest park in Ghent with dozens of types of trees, some of them actually very rare.

Gent ICC has two neighbours within the park: the world renowned SMAK or City Museum for Contemporary Art, and the MSK or Museum of Fine Arts. Together the three make up a dynamic Citadel site.

The direct proximity of the internationally renowned UGent (University of Ghent) and the active student life that goes with it are part of this vibrant city with its numerous bars, restaurants and shops.

The ICC ghent is located along the so-called 'cultural kilometre of Ghent'.

From the ICC ghent, it is just a few steps to discover the culture on offer in Ghent. The Flemish Opera, De Vooruit, the Handelsbeurs, De Bijloke and the NT Gent, all have an international appeal and an extensive line-up of music, theatre and opera. In addition, Ghent's largest cinema complex is within walking distance.

There is plenty of accommodation around Gent ICC. We collaborate closely with a number of hotels in Ghent and with the 'Guild of Guesthouses in Ghent'.                                                       >>

Apart from the underground car park at the Gent ICC, there are several large car parks in the city centre: the underground car park below Sint-Pietersplein, Sint-Pietersstation, the SMAK car park and the one on Isabellakaai.
